ABOUT OUR FOUNDER*******
Johanna Lolax, M.A., a versatile and creative resource development professional, offers customers more than 10 years of high-level experience in fundraising and nonprofit management.
A strategic thinker who has raised millions of dollars through major donor work, proposal writing to national foundations, special events, and other fundraising efforts for educational, social service, high tech, and health care organizations in New England, Ms. Lolax helps her customers to become more successful fundraisers.
The recipient of many awards for community service, and website content, Ms. Lolax formerly directed fundraising, community relations, and grant making for Fallon Clinic Foundation. She currently serves as President of Tender Beauty Foundation, Inc., and she is a past Board Member with Junior Achievement of Central Massachusetts and the Worcester Educational Development Foundation, Inc.
During her career, Ms. Lolax also has donated her time as a seminar instructor at regional fundraising conferences, a teacher of economic literacy classes for urban elementary school children, and as a volunteer with Fallon Clinic Foundation, the Fallon OrNda Fund grant making committee at the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, the Worcester Cultural Coalition, Easter Seals Massachusetts, and many other organizations.
Ms. Lolax holds degrees in literature, political science, and communications from Simmons College in Boston, MA.

-Contracted Custom Consulting Services
Best Consulting, LLC contracted consulting services are offered at market rates to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and municipalities only. Contracted consulting services are negotiated directly with institutional clients as company staff become available.
Our company offers contracted custom consulting services under independent contract for 1-month or longer on a month-to-month basis, for negotiable flat monthly fees. The first, 1-hour consultation is free on the return of a fully-completed Best Consulting, LLC Custom Evaluation Form.
Contracted consulting services are billed directly to the client organization at the end of each month, and are payable within 30 days to Best Consulting, LLC by institutional or organizational check.

Although, we cannot guarantee any specific result or outcome from the use of our products and services, we do promise the best of ethical fundraising advice. Defective product CD ROMs, and products lost or damaged in shipping or download, will be immediately replaced at no extra charge, within 90 days of shipping.

Tele-Workshop cancellations will be accepted for a full CREDIT CARD refund up to 7 days before a Tele-Workshop date, less a 10% processing fee. We apologize, but no refunds can be provided for Tele-Workshop cancellations of less than 7 days.
Best Express consulting cancellations will be accepted for a full CREDIT CARD refund up to 48 hours before the agreed-on date, less a 10% processing fee. We apologize, but no refunds can be provided for Tele-Workshop cancellations of less than 48 hours.
-Contracted Custom Consulting Services
Custom Consulting Contracts run month-to-month and may be cancelled at any time by mutual consent.

3. How soon will someone get back to me?
Best Consulting, LLC strives to answer all messages within 24 hours or less, in order to quickly resolve customer concerns. Occasionally, owing to great demand for our services, it may take us approximately 48 hours to get back to our customers.
4. Can Best Consulting, LLC (or its officers and employees) work as a "Paid Solicitor", for barter, on contingency, for a commission, or for a percentage of fundraising dollars raised?
Promoting an ethic of customer and community service, the Best Consulting, LLC company mission is to satisfy the growing need of nonprofit organizations for the best in fundraising knowledge and techniques, at prices any nonprofit organization can afford.
In accordance with the principals and values of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), all Best Consulting, LLC products and services are sold at flat prices or fees, and never on a bartered, contingency, commission, or percentage basis. Our officers and employees do not work as "Paid Solicitors".

5. Does Best Consulting, LLC give donations or event sponsorships, or work on a sliding fee scale?
Best Consulting, LLC offers moderate rates for services and products, and maintains an active corporate philanthropy program. The giving program makes decisions annually on a moderate number and amount of donations and event sponsorships. We donate to nonprofit organizations with 501 (c) 3 status only, giving (where appropriate) grants or sponsorships.
All donations and sponsorships of funds are made by Best Consulting, LLC company checks in U.S. currency, drawn on U.S. banks and financial institutions.
We are sorry, but the company does not offer sliding fees for products or services.
Here are the guidelines for application:
-Eligibility
Only nonprofit organizations with 501 (c) 3 status are eligible to apply. We are sorry, but Best Consulting, LLC cannot give donations or sponsorships to organizations without 501 (c) 3 status, individuals, for-profit ventures, political, armed forces, police, or religious organizations of any kind.
-Application Deadlines
The deadline for application submission is November 1st. All donation and sponsorship decisions will be made after November 1st, and by December 31st. We will notify you of our decision in writing.
-Application Requirements
Our application process is easy. Please send us the following by regular postal mail (not email or fax)
by November 1st:
1. An original hard copy of your current organizational letter of 501 (c) 3.
2. A one-page letter of request on your organizational letterhead. The letter must include your organizational name and mission statement, your Federal Tax ID number, the reason you need a donation, a specific request for a sponsorship or grant (tell us what and how much you need) and the original signature of your Executive Director or CEO, or your Board President.
3. An original hard copy of your current fiscal year budget, and, if you are requesting a donation to support a project, a project budget. If you are requesting an event sponsorship, please send us a list of your event sponsorship opportunities and benefits, too.
